An Ironwood Ridge High School art teacher arrested Monday engaged in sexual acts with a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old male student in her classroom and in her car on several occasions, court documents show.
Melissa Ann Dalton, 33, who had been teaching at the school for less than a year, engaged in intercourse with a 16-year-old student three times within seven days starting on February 22, according to an interim complaint filed in Pima County Justice Court.
Two incidents happened in Dalton’s car, parked in the desert near the high school. Another incident happened in Dalton’s classroom, the document said.
Dalton also engaged in one sex act with a 15-year-old student in her classroom on April 27, according to the court filing.
Dalton was booked into Pima County jail on suspicion of four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and has been placed on paid administrative leave.
