An arrest has been made in a Nov. 27 robbery of a Walmart, Tucson police said Friday.
Police said Dominic Loya, 19, was recognized by a person from a previous news report on the robbery at the store, 1260 E. Market Place Blvd.
He was arrested Thursday and booked into the Pima County jail on one count of robbery.
Police said that about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 27, a man selected display items from a shelf at the Walmart and put them in his vest pockets and in a shopping bag.
He attempted to leave without paying for the items, and when confronted by store security threatened to use a Taser on them.
He ran from the store. No weapon was seen during the incident, police said.
