A family of four was displaced by a mobile-home fire in Catalina, just north of Oro Valley, officials with the American Red Cross said.
Golder Ranch firefighters responded to the blaze, in the 3600 block of East Wilds Road, near North Oracle Road and Coronado K-8 school, just after 5:30 p.m., Chief John Sullivan said.
At least one resident was inside the home when the blaze began, Sullivan said. The resident escaped without injury.
The blaze caused “significant damages,” Sullivan said.
The Red Cross is assisting two adults and two children with food and shelter, said a spokesman for the agency, Mike Sagara.
The family’s four cats are not accounted for, Sagara said.
