A Tucson man is facing between three and seven years in prison after pleading guilty Friday to manslaughter in Pima County Superior Court.
Joel Langejans, 42, admitted he shot and killed Noah Holl, 26, on May 8 and will be sentenced Jan. 15 by Judge Howard Hantman, said Deputy Pima County Attorney Bruce Chalk.
Holl and his girlfriend brought an entertainment center to an apartment complex on East Pima Street because Langejans and another man knew someone who wanted to buy it, according to court documents. However, Holl and the other man got into a fistfight over the entertainment center and they left, Holl’s girlfriend told the police.
A few hours later, they came back and Holl and Langejans got into an argument, too.
Holl was shot and killed during the second fight.
