One man died and another remains in the hospital after a shooting Thursday morning north of downtown.
Both were taken to University of Arizona Medical Center, where one man died. The other man is expected to survive, Tucson police say.
The shooting was reported just before 11 a.m. on North Ferro Avenue, an alley-sized street near North Sixth Avenue and East Sixth Street, said Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.
Tucson police took three men into custody, although investigators were trying to determine Thursday afternoon if they were witnesses, victims or suspects, Hawke said.
Police are still looking for a woman who was connected to the shooting.
