Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a northwest-side convenience store Tuesday morning.
The robber walked into a Quik Mart, 900 W. Roger Road, and told the clerk, “Do what I say and you won’t get hurt,” said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman.
The man kept his hand in his coat pocket, implying that he had a weapon, Barkman said in a news release.
The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money and 30 cigarette lighters from a display case before fleeing the store.
He was described as black, 40-50 years-old, about 5-feet-10 inches tall, and was last seen wearing black jeans, a white t-shirt, black jacket with a hoodie and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
