The Southern Arizona DUI Task Force made 47 drunken-driving arrests over the weekend, bringing its total number of DUI arrests to 128 since Nov. 26.
Fifteen people were arrested for extreme DUI, meaning they had a blood-alcohol content higher than 0.15 percent - 0.08 is the legal limit in Arizona. Of the 47 total arrests, five were for felony DUI, according to numbers provided by the task force.
Three DUI arrests were of drivers younger than 21; the task force also made seven underage-drinking arrests.
Over the weekend, task force officers made a total of 368 stops and issued citations of some kind in 322, or 87.5 percent, of those cases.
