ARIZONA CITY - The shooting death of an Arizona City woman has left friends and family members shocked and saddened. Pinal County authorities meanwhile continue to investigate the killing of 80-year-old Wanda June Clay, a woman who some affectionately referred to as "Grandma June."
The sheriff's office says the widow was found by neighbors Sunday inside her mobile home with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Sheriff's office spokesman Tim Gaffney tells The Associated Press that Clay was sitting in her recliner watching television when she was murdered.
Gaffney says a few items were taken from Clay's rural mobile home. So far, there are no suspects.
