Tucson police have identified the man found dead in an east-side apartment Monday.
Brian Blackwell, 39, was found in an apartment at 8500 E. Old Spanish Trail by a family member, said Sgt. Matt Ronstadt a Tucson police spokesman, in a news release.
The relative called 911 and officers found Blackwell had obvious signs of trauma, the release said. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
No other information was immediately available.
