Comic book fans from across Tucson were in line early last Saturday at Heroes & Villains, 4533 E. Broadway.
Free Comic Book Day had arrived, and the annual industry-sponsored extravaganza brought out tons of people looking for a freebie.
"This is our biggest day of the year," said Eric Esquivel, the marketing director for the store.
Fifteen minutes after the doors opened, staffers were restocking shelves with free merchandise.
