89th Tucson Rodeo is underway, and bruises are part of life for cowboys who ride, rope, bulldog for a living
What: The 89th annual La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros. Every day through Sunday you can watch junior rodeo and mutton bustin’ starting at 11 a.m.; pro-rodeo competition from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and a Coors Barn Dance from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
Where: Tucson Rodeo Grounds, 4823 S. Sixth Ave.
Parade today: The parade, which is free, starts at 9 a.m. todayTHURSDAY, FEB. 20, 9 at South Park Avenue.
Tickets: The dance is $5 at the door. Rodeo tickets are $17-$23 today; $18-$24 Saturday; and $20-$26 for Sunday’s finals.
