University High School has extended the deadline for students living outside of Tucson Unified School District boundaries to apply for admissions testing for the 2017-18 school year.
Applications are due by Friday and the test will be administered a week later on June 3.
Admission to University High School is based on a point system that considers grade point average and scores on entrance exams.
Out-of-district seventh-graders considering attending UHS are encouraged to apply.
TUSD middle-schoolers have already been tested and those who are eligible for admission will receive an application in the mail.
