The Marana Cares Mobile is an effort by the Marana Unified School District to provide food to children during school breaks. The district eventually wants to offer a health clinic.
Scholarship applications are currently being accepted for the Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge #2815 contest.
The scholarship contest is open to Tucson-area college students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees, as well as vocational certification.
The deadline for submissions is March 1. For more information and to apply, go to catalinaelks.com.
