Nearly 140 students from 29 schools received a new pair of shoes, 3 pairs of socks, a book, a toothbrush and a cookie at the first of three spring shoe shopping parties from the new Payless Super Store on Broadway. The event, organized by Educational Enrichment Foundation and sponsored by volunteers Chris and Teresa Lomuto, aims to help disadvantaged students throughout the Tucson Unified School District by providing them with necessities to succeed in school.
