Testing teachers
● Starting next year, new teachers will have to pass an assessment of their teaching skills.
● Educators will submit a video of themselves in the classroom. Evaluators will look at things such as lesson preparations and how clearly the educators articulate objectives.
● Teachers will have five chances to pass.
● The longest they can teach without passing is six years.
● Arizona is the first state to start such as program.
