Arizona game officials are looking for a gray fox that bit a Tucson woman Friday and is thought to be rabid.
The fox attacked the woman, a homeowner in the area of Lloyd Bush Drive and Goret Road on the city's west side, the Arizona Game & Fish Department said in a news release Friday night.
The woman, who was bitten on a calf and palm, was treated at an emergency room and released.
If you see a fox that you think might be the one, avoid contact, call 623-236-7201 as soon as possible, day or night, and leave the area immediately, the department said.
