Dance studios, groups and individuals - a total of 100 dancers in all - rendezvoused Saturday at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort for the seventh annual Summer Dance Expo.
Dancers young and old performed at the event, sponsored by Studio West School of Dance, 6061 E. Broadway.
"This really is a fun event," said dance student Roger Fiederlein. "My grandson danced the fox trot, the waltz and the tango earlier."
The public was welcome to watch the dancers for a $5 entry fee.
Dancers showed off several types of ballroom dancing styles during the all-day expo at the resort, 7000 N. Resort Drive.
"They come here basically to showcase their talents and their dance studios," Fiederlein said.
