Dashing through the 'boneyard'
Runners are on the move during the Desert Boneyard 5K Fun Run/Walk. Last Saturday's event was at the vast aircraft storage facility on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The aircraft "boneyard" is operated by the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group and houses about 4,000 aircraft and aerospace vehicles. About 600 people signed up for the run.

Runners with Team Triumph lead the way at the start of the run. Members of the team are part of an effort to help children and adults with disabilities experience and compete in endurance events.
