“Nature, A Personal View,” artwork by Patricia Ackor, will be on display in the gallery at the Kirk-Bear Canyon Library in November.
The show features 22 of Ackor’s works of the natural world painted in watercolors, oils and colored pencil/pastel. None of the works have ever been exhibited in Tucson.
The artist, who graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor of fine arts degree, has worked as a professional interior designer and weaver creating one-of-a-kind wall hangings, tapestries and window treatments for interior design firms and individuals.
You can view her weavings and paintings at www.patriciaackor.com online.
The exhibit is open during library hours: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
