Saturday marked the beginning of Plaza Palomino Farmers Market's summer hours. The farmers market has been running for 18 years, making it the oldest-running farmers market in Tucson. Local merchants sell fruit, vegetables, plants, freshly made bread and other specialty items.
Don Guerra, owner of Barrio Bread Company, sells an order to Jill McCormick and her daughter, Mackenzie, 5. Guerra has been selling bread at Plaza Palomino for the past two-and-a-half years.
