Integrative Touch's family event is all about butterflies

Barbara Wardle and her granddaughter Mackenzie Badie, 3, watch “The Silken Thread” puppet show put on by Puppets Amongus. The show was part of Integrative Touch for Kids’ Butterfly Release Event on Sunday.
Gillian Murphy, 6, partook in the face painting that was offered at the event, which was held in the courtyard at La Encantada, 2905 E. Skyline Drive. There was also a butterfly release, singalongs and origami butterfly making.
Butterflies in folded-up paper were given to kids to release all at once. Integrative Touch is a nonprofit that helps children with health disorders.
