The pool at Udall Park, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road, is one of a handful of city pools that are open an extended season, April 1-Nov. 15.

City pools

• Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center, open year-round, 3455 E. Zoo Court. Located in Reid Park across from the zoo.
• Clements Pool, open year-round, 8155 E. Poinciana Drive. Located between the East Campus of Pima Community College and Lincoln Park.
• Palo Verde Pool, open May 30-Aug. 1, 300 S. Mann Ave., on the southwest corner of Broadway and Kolb Road.
• Purple Heart Pool, open May 30-Aug. 1, 10050 E. Rita Road. Located in Purple Heart Park at Rita Ranch.

County pools
The county doesn't have any pools on the east side or in the foothills, but the Brandi Fenton Splash Pad at 3482 E. River Road opened April 21 and will remain open through Oct. 31.
It's open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. daily.
County pools open Saturday and will stay open through Labor Day, Sept. 3.
