What: Tucson Botanical Gardens.
When: Summer hours are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The gardens are open every day except major holidays, including July 4.
Where: 2150 N. Alvernon Way.
Admission: May to September cost is $8 for adults; $7 for students, seniors and military; and $4 for children 4-12. It's free for gardens members and children 3 and younger.
