The Tucson Hebrew Academy will host its annual Tikkun Olam Award Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday to raise money for the school.
This year's event, at the Westin La Paloma Resort, 3660 E. Sunrise Drive, will honor academy parents Martha and Bill Sampson for more than 20 years of service to the school.
Martha Sampson serves on the academy's board of directors and Bill Sampson has been a longtime girls sports coach at the school.
The event also will feature guest speaker Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, author of books such as "The Kosher Sutra" and "10 Conversations You Need to Have With Your Children." Shmuley is also a frequent guest on "Oprah."
Tickets are $75 each for general admission and $50 for academy parents.
