Art students from Sabino High School will exhibit work at the Kirk-Bear Canyon Library, 8959 E. Tanque Verde Road, Friday through April 30.
The exhibition is a product of Sabino's focus on global and international studies. Included are French impressionist landscapes, Mexican amate bark paintings, pottery inspired by Southwest American Indians and expressive mask designs inspired by masks from around the world.
Two-dimensional works will be shown in the gallery and were created by first-year art students under the instruction of Patrick Connell. Three-dimensional works in the library's exhibit cubes were created under the instruction of Martha Phinney.
The exhibit is open during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
