Take note, art aficionados who enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon looking at art while sipping refreshing drinks.
What's usually a monthly Mimosa Sunday at the art galleries in Gallery Row at El Cortijo, 3001 E. Skyline Drive, will be a weekly event through July.
"It's a way to welcome people to the gallery," said Susie Smith, an employee at the Madaras Gallery.
Tucsonans Holli Nebel-Sussman and her friend Barbara Dereniak sipped mimosas — cocktails traditionally made of champagne and orange juice — while browsing through the colorful paintings for sale at the Madaras Gallery.
The art galleries in Gallery Row will be pouring different-flavored, complimentary mimosas from noon to 3 p.m. every Sunday in July. Gallery Row is located on the northeast corner of East Skyline Drive and North Campbell Avenue.
