1 Theft was reported at 5:56 a.m. June 20 at Sparkle Cleaners, 6890 E. Sunrise Drive. The store manager told deputies the front door seemed unlocked and the back door was ajar. The steel bar across the back door had been removed and the safe was open. Deposit bags containing more than $300 and a change bag containing $150 were taken. One of the front door keys kept in the store was missing.
2 Burglary was reported at 6:50 p.m. June 18 in the 4700 block of East Kelsea Place. A resident told deputies he heard a loud noise and found a door leading to the garage had been kicked in. He heard a voice and found a man holding two knives on the back patio trying to calm his three dogs. The resident chased him and he ran across the street. Deputies were unable to find the burglar. Another resident came home and told deputies the knives were from a butcher block in the kitchen. One of the dogs suffered superficial cuts on its nose and paw.

3 Malicious mischief was reported at 6:38 p.m. June 17 in the 4900 block of East Camino La Brinca. A resident told deputies someone damaged his mailbox. He said he found the remnants of an exploded firecracker when he checked his mail.
4 Burglary was reported at 7:32 p.m. June 17 in the 7200 block of East Inca Dove Drive. A resident told deputies the back French door was shattered and her 7-year-old Chihuahua was missing. A laptop computer, a CD player and amplifier, a jewelry box and an iPod also were stolen.
5 A 17-year-old boy was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence at 2:55 a.m. June 17 in the 4500 block of East Sunrise Drive after a traffic stop for reckless driving. The boy's breath smelled like alcohol and his eyes were watery. He told deputies he had several drinks earlier. He failed field sobriety tests. He also was cited on suspicion of underage drinking and speeding. He was released to his father.
6 Burglary was reported at 2:39 a.m. June 16 at Louis Vuitton, 2905 E. Skyline Drive in La Encantada shopping center. A mall security officer told deputies he and his partner heard a loud bang and breaking glass on the second level. He took the elevator up and saw two men run out of the store with a large bag. He chased the men into the desert but couldn't catch them. The front door of the store had been shattered by a large rock. An employee said merchandise valued at more than $30,000 was missing.
7 Vandalism was reported at 6:47 a.m. June 16 near East Rivercrest and East Cloud roads. A resident told deputies someone spray painted graffiti on a wall and on several signs.
