Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne has lost the GOP primary, results indicate.
Horne started the night with a slight lead but it faded as the night went on.
With about two-thirds of the votes in the state counted, the 10-point margin between Horne and challenger Mark Brnovich remained steady.
Horne's administration has been rocked by scandals. Among them: Accusations of campaign finance violations, and his office working for his reelection effort.
Brnovich will face Democrat Felecia Rotellini in the November election.
