Three students who box out of Boxing Inc. (North) won the 35th Annual Gene Lewis Invitational Boxing Tournament held Nov. 11-13 in Mesa.
Carlos Cordova, who attends Pueblo High School, won the senior division (15-16 years) at 114 pounds. Sean Pelletier, who attends Mountain View High School, won the intermediate division (13-14 years) at 119 pounds, and Roderick C. Flores, who also attends Mountain View, brought home a dual championship. He won the senior division (15-16 years) at 138 pounds and 145 pounds, having moved up to compete at 145 pounds.
All three are trained by Rodney Flores, Rigo Borrego and Jose Cordova at Boxing Inc. (North), 4165 W. Ina Road.
