PACC Pets is a volunteer group that works to get the word out about adoptable pets being housed at the Pima Animal Care Center.
The county-run shelter is a temporary home for cats, dogs, birds and other animals. They include pets that have been lost or abandoned, litters of puppies and kittens, and even older pets whose owners no longer want them.
The shelter, at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is open from noon to 7 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, including adoption costs and how to volunteer at the shelter, go to www.pimaanimalcare.org or call 243-5900.
If you've lost your pet, be sure to check the website's "Found Pets" page. Find more about PACC Pets on Facebook: www.facebook.com/the.pacc.pets
All the pets featured here have been spayed/neutered and have had their shots. Be sure to ask about the reduced adoption prices on certain pets.
