Music sounds a fun note for children
Minnie Belle Phares jumps through a hoop during the presentation of Musical Magic for Kids. Saturday's event at Oro Valley Town Hall was presented by The Music and Dance Academy, and featured musicians performing on flute, french horn and bassoon. Children got to perform along with the music, acting as animals, tumbling and jumping through hoops.
Gregory Helseth plays a few notes on the french horn to let the audience hear what his instrument sounds like. Other musicians included Cassandra Benedickson on bassoon and Deena Reedy on flute.
