● Casa de la Luz Hospice, 400 W. Magee Road, is seeking a volunteer to provide companionship and emotional support and read books and newspapers. Volunteers will also offer respite care to caregivers, run errands, write letters and document patients' lives through reminiscences. Volunteers may be asked to do light housekeeping and prepare light meals. All volunteers must complete a 30-hour training program. ● Habitat for Humanity Tucson is seeking volunteers to work with staff to pick up donations throughout the city. Heavy lifting is involved, and volunteers must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds. Volunteers need to have a good driving record and be willing to submit their driving record to Habitat for Humanity.
