The American Legion Auxiliary, Oro Valley Unit 132, is seeking new members. The new unit's charter was presented in May, and auxiliary members are eager to meet other women interested in supporting our military and the community.
If you have served in the U.S. armed forces or are the mother, wife, daughter, sister or granddaughter of someone (living or dead) who served during any period of military conflicts including and since World War I, you are eligible for membership.
The unit meets from 6 to 7 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month from September to May at California Design Center/Studio C, 11085 N. Oracle Road in Oro Valley. Visitors are welcome.
