Maddy Bosshardt, 7, makes costume cut-outs while her twin brother, Joseph, right, observes during the Magic Tree House Book Club at the Oro Valley Public Library, 1305 W. Naranja Drive. The book club is inspired by the Magic Tree House books by Mary Pope Osborne. This month the group talked about "Ghost Town at Sundown," which is book No. 10 in the series. The book takes the characters on a fantasy adventure to the Wild West. The group meets the third Thursday of each month to explore a different book in the series with discussion and fun activities. Kids don't have to read the book to attend a meeting, but space is limited so reservations should be made two weeks in advance. The club is for kids ages 6-10.
