BURROUGHS, Christopher Charles

60, passed away unexpectedly at his Tucson home on November 19, 2018. Chris was a talented songwriter, musician and recording artist with fans throughout the US and Europe, however his proudest accomplishment was that of a husband and father. Chris and Kelly married in 1999, and would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in January. Chris loved his wife very much and the feeling was mutual. In 2004, their son Henry was born. Chris was an amazing father, patient teacher and so proud of Henry and the young man he was becoming. Chris grew up in West Milford, New Jersey and attended Rutgers University before moving to Tucson to pursue his career in music. Chris was in a number of bands including Chris Burroughs and the Nationals, Chris Burroughs and the Mercenaries, Hardpan, as well as a successful solo career. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Kelly; son, Henry; father, Charles "Sonny" Burroughs and many, many friends throughout the US and Europe. He is preceded in death by his mother Patricia and sister, Suzy. Services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.

LAVIOLA, Theresa Marie,

89 died November 19, 2018. Born in Binghamton, NY and married Guido on October 16, 1948. She moved to Tucson in 1958 and worked for TUSD. Survived by daughters, Irene, Nancy and Constance; grandchildren, Talia, Serena, Briana, Chase and Kendall; sisters, Phyllis, Nancy and Joann; brothers, Gerald and Donald. The viewing on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at BRINGS BROADWAY CHAPEL begins at 5:00 p.m. Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and with viewing ending at 8:00 p.m. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018, at St. Francis De Sales. Entombment to follow in Our Lady of the Desert Mausoleum. Lunch follows at approximately 12:15 p.m. at St. Francis De Sales hall. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America in Theresa's memory.

MARTINEZ, Sophia Grace 3/3/2006 - 11/24/2011

Sophia, seven years have already passed but it seems just like yesterday. Not a moment goes by that we don't think of you, and we often wonder what you would be like now. We love and miss you beyond words. Love, Mama, Papa and Ryan.

THULLEN, Constance Ann (Fey)

82, of Tucson, died peacefully November 4, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born March 23, 1936 in Englewood, NJ, the daughter of Dr. Harold E. Fey and Golda (Conwell) Fey. She attended Hyde Park High School in Chicago, IL, and received her Bachelor's degree from Drake University, where she was a sister of the Delta Zeta sorority. Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Edward J. Thullen. She is survived by her four children and five grandchildren. Services will be held in Bellevue, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Casa De Los Niños.
