CAVIGLIA, Socorro L. 8/23/1923 - 6/30/2018

CAVIGLIA, Socorro L. 8/23/1923 - 6/30/2018

Surrounded by loving family, Socorro peacefully passed on to be with the Lord. She lived a long and full life and was the corner stone of her family and a friend to all those around her. Socorro would want to be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother and "Aunt Chokie" to her many nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Tucson Arizona and in her later years lived in Phoenix Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Simon Caviglia and several siblings Mercy, Olga, Hector and Benito whom she dearly loved and missed. She is survived by her son, Bernard and wife Tina; her grandchildren, Aaron and April Caviglia and Julie Anne Metcalf (David); sisters, Isabelle Ezrre and Estela Ayon; brothers, Jesus and Ernest Lizardi and numerous nieces and nephews. She lived her life as an example of her deep faith in God, always leaving her fate in God's hands. She was generous to all and always worried and prayed for her family. She is now in Gods hands and free of all her pain and suffering which plagued her for so many years. May she rest in peace. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass offered at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church 1220 S. 6th Ave. Tucson. Burial will follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.

69, passed away with her sister and family by her side on Friday, June 15, 2018. She was born on August 29, 1948 and grew up in Globe, Arizona. TILLINGHAST, Mary

TILLINGHAST, Mary

my beloved wife, with me begetting Stephen Tillinghast, who with his wife, Ashley Tillinghast, gave birth to Willow Tillinghast (our 5 month-old granddaughter). Mary died quietly June 25 2018. A graduate of Oakland Iowa High School-where she played on a championship basketball team-then art school in Chicago. In 1953 Mary ventured to Los Angeles for fame and fortune and there met me, Charles, and we married within two months, the happiest moments of our lives. (Can I speak for her? I do.) She earned an AB degree from LA State College in accounting, and went on to perform freelance accounting services, and artistic services for the Capitol Record Club. She was happy in what she did. Arrangements by NEPTUNE SOCIETY.
