HALL, G. Steven "Steve" 9/24/1966 - 5/16/2018

Steve unexpectedly passed away May 16, 2018 in Tucson, AZ surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born in Boulder, CO and at three months of age moved to Quito, Ecuador where his father was employed as a geologist. A favorite memory was Mercedes, the family childcare provider. He was bilingual and spoke Spanish with her. When he was three, the family moved to Bloomington, IN. He went to Arlington Elementary School, Dyer Middle School, and Bloomington High School South. Steve received both his undergraduate and Law degrees from Indiana University and promptly moved to Tucson where he proudly became a financial advisor for A.G. Edwards which became Wachovia and is now Wells Fargo. In 2004, his daughter Elaina Nicole Hall was born and ever since has been the center of his life. Steve was very loyal, especially to family, and would have loved for everyone to just move to Tucson. Basketball has always been a passion in Steve's life. He was thrilled when Elaina found it might be hers as well. Together they talked strategy and worked on her skill development. They loved every moment of their time together. Steve enjoyed working out, landscaping his properties, dancing, and spending time with his family. Steve was preceded by his father, Robert D. Hall of Bloomington, IN and grandmothers, Helen L, Hall and Kathryn M. Wright. Survivors include daughter, Elaina Nicole Hall; brothers and spouses, Tom and Laura Hall of Bloomington, IN and James Hall and Jason Blair of New York City; mother, Jackie Hall and partner Lloyd Orr of Bloomington, IN; and aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends and colleagues. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018, 11:30 a.m. at the Omni Tucson National Resort to honor his memory. The family would like Steve to be remembered for his incredible love of family and his quiet generosity that was visibly displayed with the request that his organs be donated. On Saturday his organs and tissue were passed on to others whose families and friends are filled with hope and gratitude. Not only will his spirit and memory live on but also part of his being survives. Arrangements under the care of VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME. 520-544-2285
