In memoriam: Funeral notices, July 29, 2022

Mary Caswell of Tucson, Arizona, passed away July 25, 2022 after a long fight with leukemia.  She was 78 years old.  Mary is survived by her stepsons Don (Kathie) and David (Barbara), and her three grandchildren, Benjamin, Emma and Shannon.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Shirley Gibbas, her husband Homer Caswell and her son John Seger. Born in Greenfield, MA, Mary spent 20 productive years with Hilton Hotels Corporation.  Upon retirement, she had the pleasure to volunteer with the Town of Oro Valley, Arizona, receiving the Volunteer of the Year in 2010 while serving on the Development Review Board and Planning & Zoning.  She was also very active with the Rancho Vistoso Homeowners Association, as well as the Eagle Crest Ranch Homeowners Association.  She served as a trustee of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, was a board member of the Miami Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, and was a member of the Arizona Planning Association as a citizen advisor.   Her many passions included gardening, especially orchids, painting, sewing and playing with her beloved dogs.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society. With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kelly Joe Crews who passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the age of 55.  Kelly was born on August 3, 1966, to Vic and Cheryl Crews. He was preceded in death by his dad, Victor R. Crews, Jr. He is survived by his mom Cheryl; his sisters, Channa Vaught (Clark) of Tucson, Arizona, Lynne Wilson (Lee) of Redding, California, and Marcy Marsh (Ryan) of Berne, Indiana; his nieces and nephews, Nathan Alba, Dominique Vaught, Caleb Wilson (Kymberlee), Joshua Wilson, Patricia Wilson, Lacey Marsh, and Adelaide Marsh; his great-nephew and nieces, Roman Alba, Danielle Alba, and Taryn Wilson; and his aunts and uncles, Charles Nordquist, Becky Nordquist, and Gary and Karen Ellis. There will be a visitation and funeral at Faith Baptist Church in Berne, Indiana on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. with the funeral at 6 p.m. officiated by Kelly's pastor and brother-in-law, Ryan Marsh. A dinner will follow the service.  Preferred memorials can be made to the Faith Baptist Church Bus Ministry in Berne, Indiana, or Coronado Baptist Church Bus Ministry in Tucson, Arizona. Beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother went to be with the Lord and her cherished husband Marvin on July 22, 2022.  She was born and raised on a farm in Andulsia, Alabama as the eldest of 10 children, where she developed her lifelong love of gardening. While working as a nurse, she met and married Marvin Hustad, who preceded her in death in 2018. Jackie is survived by daughters, Karen Dailey (Kevin) and Cynthia Ledbetter; grandchildren, Alesia Ledbetter and Andrew Van Boerum; sisters, Joyce Ellen and Gwynnetta; brother, Anthony and numerous other relatives. Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL from 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., with graveside service Monday, August 1, 2022 at 8:30 a.m., at All Faiths Memorial Park.
