Charles Marksch

Charles Marksch

Charles Anthony Marksch, 72, died June 23, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona. Born November 1, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio. Survived by his wife, Mary Lou Marksch; son, Anthony Marksch; daughter, Rebecca Marksch (Vaughan Kia, Lennon Charles); sisters, Mary Marlene Calkins (Mark, Tony, Evan), Aaron (Laura) Calkins (Madeleine, Lily), Dori (Bill) Ludwick (Rachel, Ryan); cousins Paulette (Mel) Kwiatkowski (Steven, Michael, Kristin, and five grandchildren), Paula; brother-in-law Frank E. Schooley; sister-in-law Betsy J. Schooley, and numerous cousins in Toledo, Ohio. He had many nieces and nephews across the US. Charles was involved in many activities. In his youth before he became ill, he enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, tennis, and stargazing. His greatest love was TEACHING. He enjoyed all his students at Salpointe Catholic High School. Upon leaving SCHS, many students sent cards to chuck saying he was their best math teacher. He was a coach and scorekeeper for many years in after-school activities. He contributed his musical capabilities in music and drama. Most of his students were aware he suffered from Crohn's Disease which he developed in the 1970's while in the military. Visitation will be from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022 at BRING'S Broadway Chapel 6910 East Broadway, Tucson. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at St. Pius X Catholic Church 1800 S. Camino Pio Decimo, Tucson. Burial with military honors to take place Monday July 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Marana, Arizona.

Cheryl Mason

Cheryl Marie (Premer) Mason left this world suddenly on June 30, 2022 at age 76 in Tucson, Arizona. Cheryl was born to Donald and Lois (Skepstedt) Premer on September 17, 1945 in Moline, Illinois. She and her family moved to Tucson, Arizona around 1953. In addition to her parents, Cheryl is predeceased by her beloved brother, Dallas Premer. She is survived by her son, David, his wife Tracey and their children, Brittany and Andy; son, Steven Mason; brothers, Ted Premer and wife Sandy, Mike Premer and wife Sandy; sister, Meredith Kolt; sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Cheryl was a licensed Cosmetologist and hairdresser in Tucson for almost 50 years. After leaving the "shop", she continued to cut hair for her favorite clients, family and friends in her home. Cheryl was passionate about all animals, but was particularly fond of birds. She owned two Amazon parrots and a dove. She also owned many cats, dogs and turtles over the years and was instrumental in finding homes for many baby animals. We will celebrate Cheryl's life on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E Grant Rd in Tucson. Visitation at 10:00 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial at 12:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Flowers may be sent to East Lawn Palms Mortuary at the address above. If you prefer, please consider donating to an animal charity of your choice in Cheryl's name. Arrangements by East Lawn Palms Mortuary.

Michael Seader

Michael Seader

Beloved husband of Margaret and devoted father to Elizabeth and Catherine, Mike was reunited with his parents and brother in heaven on July 1, 2022. Born in Tucson to Philip and Helen Seader, Mike enjoyed being raised in a busy home with his eight siblings: Phil (deceased), Alexis, Ruth (Mark) Peterson, Mary Beth (Bernie) Style, Carol Overpeck, Andrea (Mike-deceased) Sanders, Greg (Roxanne) and Donna (Stan) Spackeen. Mike's greatest achievement that he was most proud of was his family: Margaret, his beloved wife of 30 years and his two daughters, Elizabeth, who is an Engineer for Raytheon in Boston, and Catherine, who will be graduating from the U of A next semester with a degree in Neuroscience and will be headed to graduate school thereafter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as his Aunt Toki/Uncle Tom Seader and Aunt Helen Hendrix. Mike was also very close to his wife's family, the Crino's: Pat and Betty Crino (both deceased) and their children, Anne (Scot-deceased) Wilson, Mary (Frank) Lacagnina, Rev. Patrick Crino, and Teresa (Jim) Mortensen. Mike attended St. Joseph's Catholic School, Salpointe High School, and Pima Community College. He worked for many years as an Asst. Manager at Walgreens, but was most recently employed by Target Distribution. Mike was well respected by his co-workers and he made many lifelong friends at work. Mike was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams being the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Wildcats. He particularly enjoyed trips to Las Vegas for gambling, attending shows, and the PAC 12 tournaments. Mike had a great sense of humor, and had a passion for making people laugh. His life, while cut short, is distinguished by the many family and friends who love him and miss him dearly. Visitation and Rosary on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Brings Broadway Chapel, and Funeral Mass on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
