CAMPBELL, Brian Dennis

64, of Perry, MI away October 16, 2021. Brian was born February 17, 1957 in Detroit, MI, but grew up in Redford TWP. He attended Redford TWP public schools and completed a broadcasting degree for radio broadcasting. Brian was married to his wife, Diana for 35 years. He was actively involved in his church. Brian and his family spent 12 years in Tucson, AZ before returning to MI. Brian is survived by his wife, Diana; their four children and their spouses, John and Susan Slone, Nathan and Felicia Slone, Dion Campbell and Caitlin and Dan Ruiz; their six grandchildren, Sierra and Ricky Kooy, Devon Slone, Gaige Slone, Lexi Slone, Talon Slone and Millie Ruiz; his siblings, Shawn, Colleen and Dion; his sisters-in-love, Debbie Wade, Donna Fields, Denise Anderson and Gina Kitchen; many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of awesome friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Nancy Campbell; his sister, Shannon Zimmerman, and lifelong friend, Rocky Read.

An Irish Roast and Toast of Brian Campbell will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Troy Marriott, 260 W. Big Beaver Rd., Troy, MI from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Please dress casual.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Kidney Foundation and The Autism Society in Brian's name. Arrangements by O'LAUGHLIN FUNERAL HOME, Coleman, MI.

Our beloved mother was called home to our Lord on Monday, September 20, 2021 (her 86th birthday) while having cake and ice cream in her home of 36 years, with her family. She was surrounded by love when she left us. She was born in Jerome AZ, grew up in Tucson. Soon after graduating from Tucson High, She moved to San Francisco, then to LA, where she met her true love, Stanley (Lovey), a young Marine at a party. Her life of travel (which she loved) began shortly after meeting and marrying the love of her life. She had a loving and giving heart for everyone, and she was loved by all who met her. Our mom loved music, loved to dance, read, and to laugh! she had an amazing sense of humor. Her love for family and friends was boundless. She lived her life to the fullest, and she lived it her way! She is preceded in death by her true love Stanley (Lovey), husband of 59 years; parents, Cornelio and Petra Reynaga; sisters, Alice, Ronnie; brother, Roy. Survived by sisters, Emma, Gloria, Lena; brothers, Cornelio and Joseph; children, Raymond (wife Jean), Wendy and Anthony (wife Susie); grandchildren, Benjamin, John, Keomi, Raquel, Angel, Anthony Jr. and four great-grandchildren. Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2021, at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL, 7 E. University Blvd., Tucson, AZ. Interment 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2021, AZ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 15950 N. Luckett Rd., Marana, AZ.

James King

KING, James "Jim"

passed away on October 12, 2021 due to complications of West Nile Virus. Jim was a longtime Psychology professor at the University of Arizona. He was born in Baker, Oregon in 1937 and moved as a young child to Tucson, where he attended Mansfield Middle School and Tucson High School, graduating in 1955. After high school, Jim attended the University of Arizona as an undergraduate, and the University of Wisconsin, where he received his PhD in Psychology in 1963.

After receiving his doctorate, Jim returned to Tucson where he became a professor at the University of Arizona. His research on primate behavior and personality structures was a big part of his life until the very end. After formally retiring in 2007, he continued working as an emeritus professor, collaborating with research colleagues, and attending research-related meetings at the university.

Jim met his wife, Penny, at the University of Arizona. They married, raised two children, and had a long, happy life together. In their later years they enjoyed traveling, including two sabbaticals to Scotland, and regular trips to visit family in California, Colorado, and Illinois. Jim enjoyed reading, bird watching, and gardening. He especially enjoyed his collection of cholla plants, which were a source of torment for his children. He volunteered with the local Reading Seeds program, tutoring elementary school children, and worked closely with a refugee family from Syria.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla "Penny" King and his parents, Robert and Ruth King. He is survived by his children, Roger King (Kathie Rhodes) and Jennifer Seedorf (Steve Seedorf), as well as his four grandchildren, Zoe and Eliza King and James and Joshua Seedorf. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Church of the Painted Hills, 3259 W. Speedway, Tucson. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

In loving memory of our mother Cora Tellez, 99, of Tucson, passed peacefully in the presence of her family, Friday, October 15, 2021. Survived by sister, Alice Castano (Al); sons, Danny Tellez (Delfina), Ron Tellez (Debbie) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Frank F. Tellez Sr., and son, Frank Tellez Jr. (Sara). Born on March 20, 1922 in Ray, AZ. Cora was a homemaker and an outgoing, physically fit mother who loved to travel to Las Vegas, Hermosillo and California where many of her sisters lived. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will be missed tremendously! Services and Viewing will be Monday, October 25, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL, 7 E. University Blvd. Burial immediately following at Holy Hope Mausoleum.
