In memoriam: Funeral notices, August 12, 2022

Sherry Thomas Linker, 64, Oro Valley, Arizona, died unexpectedly July 29, 2022, at home from complications with medical treatments. Sherry spent most of her adult life in Battle Creek, Michigan where she was a professional dog trainer and breeder as owner of Linker Learning Center; plus, she was a published author of books on dog training. Sherry is survived by brothers, David Thomas (Maria), Stephen Thomas (Tammy), Terry Thomas (Cheryl), all in Michigan, also by her life partner, Richard Flax of Oro Valley, and several stepchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. The family will schedule future celebration services to honor her memory. Arrangements by Vistoso Funeral Home. 

of Marana died peacefully in the arms of Roy, her husband of 53 years. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren when she passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Cary was an attorney, who specialized in "Food & Drug Law." For twenty years she worked at Tucson's Syncardia, the only medical device company making the artificial heart. She and her wonderful team were responsible for the legal aspects of the clinical trials and eventual Food & Drug Final Approval for this life-saving device. She was a strong advocate for empowering women in the workplace and mentored several women in that pursuit for job advancement. She loved her sons Greg and Jon, and their spouses Wendy and Karen, and her four grandchildren McKenzie, Chase, Elisabeth and Will. She was the most loving wife that any man could ever hope to have. Her husband Roy's heart is broken, and he will love and miss her forever There are no pending funeral services, but a "Celebration of Life" will be held in a few months. A loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and nurse has passed away. Mary Tuttle-Hrisko was born May 16, 1954 in Lima, OH to Joseph and Mary Martin. Raised in OH, Mary moved to Tucson in 1969 with her then husband Jasper Tuttle. Jasper proceeded her in death in 1989. A caring person, Mary worked as a home health LPN for almost 40 years. Mary married Ronald Hrisko in 2003. She passed away August 10, 2022 in Tucson, AZ. Mary is survived by her husband Ron Hrisko, sons Larry Tuttle and Dan Hrisko, daughters-in-law Beverlee Thompson-Tuttle and Val Heidrich, and grandchildren Dillon, Rachel, and Hannah Tuttle. A visitation and time with the family is being held at Adair Avalon Chapel, 8090 N Northern Ave, Tucson, AZ, 85704 on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
