Police: Man shot in north Tucson Friday evening

Police are investigating a shooting in north Tucson Friday night. 

Officers responded to multiple calls of gunfire near the intersection of North Columbus Boulevard and East Glenn Street around 5:30 p.m., according to Tucson Police spokesman Officer Frank Magos.

One man was found shot and was taken to a nearby hospital, police said. Two people were detained and taken into custody.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No further details have been released.
