Sculpture honors longtime Tucson mariachi teacher
Alfredo Valenzuela, who has spread the love of mariachi music among Tucson school children for decades is being honored with a sculpture outside Davis Bilingual Elementary Magnet School, on West St. Mary’s Road near North Granada Avenue. The sculpture was revealed to the public at a ceremony Saturday.
