Veterans take off on a Dream Flight from Marana Airport
Scott Bauman celebrated his 92nd birthday on Tuesday with a flight in a WWII-era Stearman SD-75 biplane at Marana Regional Airport. Bauman served in the U.S. Air Force just after the Korean War and went on become a professor in business and finance.
A small group of military veteran-residents from Splendido at Ranch Vistoso were each treated to a Dream Flight, a non-profit started in 2011, which honors seniors and military veterans. Photos and video by Rick Wiley / Arizona Daily Star 2022
