Some biologists worry about the impact burros could have on Arizona's desert ecosystem from eating larger plants relied upon by many different species of plants and animals for protection from the sun and predators.
A 20-year-old Arizona law that allows some people who never have lived in the state to vote in elections is illegal, an attorney for the Arizona Republican Party told a judge in seeking to have it voided.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes told the  state Supreme Court she needs until Nov. 21 to decide whether to seek review of a lower court ruling that tossed indictments tied to efforts in the state to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
