A bridge in Rio Rico will now be named after Lucila Gomez Bejarano, a 104-year-old resident and foster mother born in the now-ghost town of Calabasas.
Lucila Gomez Bejarano, the Santa Cruz County native who recently had a Rio Rico bridge named in her honor, died on Aug. 14, just nine days after her 105th birthday.
