Firefighters are en route to a wildfire reported shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday in Redington Pass northeast of Tucson.
Named the Aliso Fire, the blaze is burning east of Aliso Canyon, said Michelle Fidler, a National Park Service spokeswoman.
A helicopter crew flew over the fire and estimated it to have burned 50 acres, said Heidi Schewel, a Coronado National Forest spokeswoman, Thursday night.
