Analysis: The war with Iran, for all its complexity and global effects, boils down to a single question: Who can take the pain the longest?
Iran fired on commercial ships Wednesday and targeted Dubai International Airport, escalating a campaign of bottling up the oil-rich Persian Gulf as global energy concerns mounted.
Car-buying resource Edmunds says it has seen an uptick in people researching EVs and hybrids. But the experts also say just how far that will go is unclear.
U.S. Central Command, which oversees the Middle East, said two aircraft were involved; one landed safely and the other went down in Iraq.
The U.S. military says a KC-135 refueling aircraft supporting operations against Iran crashed in western Iraq, killing all six crew members.
The move marks a major addition of troops to the region nearly two weeks into a war that shows no sign of letting up.
Iran said the U.S. used "ports, docks and hideouts" in the UAE and urged people to evacuate areas where it said U.S. forces sheltered.
Trump says a former president told him he wishes he had attacked Iran while in office. Aides to all four living former presidents deny any recent contact with Trump.
