If abortion becomes illegal, digital surveillance could take a darker turn. Data from apps that track reproductive health could be used against you.
The reasons why people may seek out late-term abortions are complex and are often based on new medical information and delays caused by state policies.
There are almost 100 grassroots groups organizing as a safety valve for the vast swaths of the South and Midwest where abortion may soon be barred.
The bill would prohibit all abortions, except to save the life of a pregnant woman or if the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest that has been reported to law enforcement.
"Seeing characters have abortions on television [or in film] may be the first time someone sees abortion as a personal issue, not just a political issue."
