Rep. Spartz: Ukrainians ready to defend 'freedom'
Republican Congressional Representative, Victoria Spartz, says her recent trip to Ukraine showed her that the Ukrainian people are ready to defend their country. In an interview with the Associated Press, she urged the U.S. to be engaged and provide stability in Europe because "this issue at stake goes beyond Ukraine." Spartz, who grew up in Ukraine when it was part of the former Soviet Union and is now a U.S. citizen, says she's "proud" to see the determination of Ukrainians who are ready to defend their country against Russian aggression.
